This Chase Sapphire card was named one of the best travel cards in 2019. What’s cool about this, is that the points that you accumulate can transfer to many different travel partners for a 1:1 rate.

The VentureOne card requires that the withholder have good to excellent credit and does not ask for an annual fee. One of its benefits is that it offers 12 months of zero percent APR financing on the things that you buy. However, following that year, the APR changes to 14.24% – 24.24% for balance transfers along with purchases. Unlike other travel cards, this one does not have a max on miles that you can earn, and they will never expire as long as you have that card.  

Hilton Honors American Express Card

With the Hilton Honors card, any Hilton purchases made will earn you seven points per dollar, purchases made at grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants will earn you five points. All the other things you buy will earn you three points. Obtaining this card should not be stressful, it requires a zero-annual rate with good to excellent credit. If you spend $1,000 within the first three months of opening, Hilton Honors will give you 75,000 free bonus points.  

Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card

Capital One offers extended warranty coverage, travel accident insurance, card replacement, and a travel assistant service available 24-hours. With the Quicksilver card, you can earn 1.5% cash back on all purchases, and if you spend $500 within the first three months of account opening, you’ll receive a $150 cash bonus. Similar to the others, you do not have to pay an annual rate, and the cardholder must have good to excellent credit.  

Travel credit cards can favor a typical credit card but are a little different. With travel credit cards, the interest rates are higher, so it is better to not to keep a balance on it. It is difficult to get the reward benefits that a travel card can give you if you have that unpaid balance. A travel card can be a beautiful thing which can offer you benefits that a regular credit card could never.
